Sapphire September Birthstone Necklace

Sale price£235

Our September Sapphire Birthstone pendant features a natural rose-cut sapphire set upon a silver orb with an 18k gold vermeil scalloped setting.

The final delicate elevation to each birthstone charm comes from two twinkling lab-grown diamonds. Sapphire is September's birthstone and were adorned in the ancient world as protective talismans and venerated as symbols of heaven and sky. As all our gemstones are uniquely hand-cut, the colour can vary slightly between stones.

Sapphire

Long treasured throughout history, sapphires were once worn as protective talismans and revered as symbols of the heavens. While best known for their rich blue hues, sapphires can be found in every colour of the rainbow, from vivid pinks to verdant greens and golden yellows, they are among nature's most versatile gemstones.. Exceptionally durable and second only to diamond in hardness, making them a gemstone to be cherished for generations.

"Sapphires are endlessly fascinating. People think of blue, but they exist in almost every colour imaginable, each one with its own unique personality."
