Our gemstones are sourced from the far corners of the earth, including Sri Lanka, Russia, Brazil, and several African countries. We provide as much information as possible with each gemstone product.

What is your sustainability policy?

How should I care for my jewellery?

Please refer to our care guide for maintenance and best practice.

My jewellery has tarnished, why is this and what can I do?

Silver can tarnish due to natural oils, perfumes, creams and sulphur in knitwear. This can be removed with a polishing cloth or silver dip.
18k gold vermeil can be cleaned with a soft cloth, warm soapy water, or silver dip.

Tarnishing is a natural process and may still occur over time.

If you purchased between January-July 2020, your packaging may cause temporary tarnishing due to a harmless trace of sulphur. Please contact [email protected] for a cleaning kit.

A gemstone has chipped or fallen out, what can I do?

We can often replace stones depending on wear and circumstances. Costs are assessed case by case.

Should I insure my jewellery?

We recommend adding jewellery to your home contents insurance. High-value items should be individually valued and insured.

I've lost an earring, can I purchase a replacement?

In some cases, we can supply a single replacement earring depending on stock.

Please contact [email protected]. Ensure earrings are securely fastened. Dinny Hall cannot take responsibility for lost earrings.
