Fashion Revolution

Much of the global fashion industry is opaque, exploitative and environmentally damaging and desperately needs revolutionary change. As a brand with three decades of heritage, we’ve seen the the positive and negative effects fashion has had and whilst we’re passionate about style, we don’t want our clothes or jewellery to come at the cost of people or our planet. We’ve watched the Fashion Revolution campaign from afar for a few years now, but felt this year was a great time to get involved and tell our story in a bid to make our industry fairer, safer, cleaner and more transparent. We opened the door to our London based workshop to introduce three of our most highly prized goldsmiths.

Clare, Head of Fine Jewellery

Clare’s worked at Dinny Hall since 2000 and heads our Fine Jewellery Department, specialising in precious gemstones and working with Dinny on private commissions. As well as one of kind pieces, Clare develops our fine collection, including our beautiful commitment and eternity rings, which we dub the heirlooms of the future! Clare loves sapphires, weekends with her kids and coffees from Daylesford.

Steve, Head Goldsmith

He’s not only our rock’n’roll goldsmith, but he’s the only man in an all female company! With over 35 years of industry experience, Steve comes with a wealth of experience and over 15 years developing Dinny’s designs, taking them from sketch to reality.

Sophie, Goldsmith

Sophie is our goldsmith extraordinaire (and when we can spare her, our part time house model!) Sophie has been with us for six years and cut her teeth on the Dinny Hall bench, now she’s a master wax carver and loves working with precious metals. As an aside Sophie’s one tough cookie, working towards her black belt in kick boxing!
