The mystical multicoloured glow of opals is caused by the refraction of light through tiny silica spheres trapped inside the stone. When light passes through, rays are refracted into a spectral of colours creating a multi-coloured luminosity that shines from the inside out.

This stud features a AAA cabochon 4mm Ethiopian Opal, accented by a 2mm sparkling diamond SI2 and set in solid 14 karat gold half-orb setting with dainty claws.

Our diamond sources are as committed to fair trade and responsible practices as we are. They all have accreditation from The Responsible Jewellery Council. This means sound supply chain, sound sustainability practices and sound people practices.
